SAGA Balloon Meeting

Outline

2016 SAGA Balloon Meeting is going to be held with 4 competitions in the form of the grand prix participated by teams around Saga areas. Trial session of the riding on a captive balloon and Balloon Morning Fair are also held in the main launch, Kase River Disaster Prevention Station.

• 1st Competition Saga TV Cup - 7:00 AM, Sun. Nov. 7, 2016 (weather permitting)
• 2nd Competition NTT West Cup - 7:00 AM, Sun. Dec. 11, 2016
• 1st Competition Saga TV Cup - 7:00 AM, Sun. Dec. 18, 2016
• 3rd Competition JR Kyushu Cup - 7:00 AM, Sun. Jan. 8, 2017
• 4th Competition Saga Shinbun Cup - 7:00 AM, Sun. Jan. 29, 2017
• （If they are postponed ; 1st and 2nd – Dec. 18, 3rd and 4th- Feb. 5）

Kase Riverbed, Saga City（Kase River Disaster Prevention Station.）

Park and Ride

・There is the free parking just beside the riverbed of the main launch.
・If you use a train, please get off at Nabeshima Station, Nagasaki Line. And then it will take 30 min to walk to the launch. JR Balloon Saga Station is unavailable.

Trial session of the riding on a captive balloon

・500 yen for one person.
・The first 200 arrivals only.
There are cases in which cancellations are made due to rain and strong wind.
