The Balloon launch site is the very wide riverbed and there are some embankments and bumps. It will be crowded and sometimes the field of vision will be bad. Please be careful and never take your eyes off the child.>/p>

The situation to get lost

  • When you are out from the restroom, parents lost their children.
  • Before the Night Mooring (sunset) and after it (so dark), shoals of people move to the same way and it is very crowded. You may get separated in a crowded and it is hard to find one. Please keep holding your children's hand.

    • Free Maigo band (lost child's identification band) is distributed

    You can get the Maigo band for under elementary school kids at 4 places, The Headquarters, Balloon Information Center, Main Ikoi-no-Hiroba Square, and North Exit of Ikoi-no-Hiroba Square. (Pink signs are the landmarks.) In the worst case you are separated, we refer to the information with Maigo band. Please feel free to use it.

    Advice

    Please help children with the belt on their wrists or belt loops, not to come off when they take off and put on clothes.

    About Announcements of the Lost Children

    In the launch site, announcements of the lost children are just for under early elementary grades kids as a general rule. It provided, however, that there are dangerous situations and exceptional circumstances, and please ask the headquarters and two Ikoi-no-Hiroba Squares.

    Important

    While the Night Mooning (La Montgolfier Nocturne), the announces of the lost child stops for the stage.
    Be careful that cell-phones and smart-phones may be hard to connected for crowded calls on weekends and holidays.

    Safety Measure in Your Family

    Please make sure below with your children in your home before you come to the launch site.

    • Memorize what your children are wearing. We need the information of their clothes when we announce. For example, you can contrive to get them wear showy clothes or matching outfits.
    • Check the place of Maigo Center (Lost Child Center) with your children when you arrived at the launch site.
    • Learn round map and where you stand now with the brochure.
    • Make a point of the meeting place just in case your phone call cannot be connected.
    • Tell your children and make them learn your phone number.
    • Give your children your name and address card and let them keep it.
