Now Accepting Volunteer Applications

Starting on June 1st (Wednesday), the 2016 World Hot Air Balloon Championship Organizing Committee will be accepting volunteer applications for the 2016 FAI World Hot Air Balloon Championship in Saga.

Volunteering for the 2016 FAI World Hot Air Balloon Championship in Saga

Volunteer Types

• Drivers
  Drive the large vans that serve as equipment vehicles ("chase cars") for teams from overseas.
• Crew
  Crew for the competitive balloons and fantasia balloons. Assist with inflating and deflating the envelope, putting the balloon away after use, etc.
• Lost Child Center Staff
  Help the staff supervising the Lost Child Center at the Fiesta Grounds.
• Operations Support Staff
  Assist with fiesta operations. Includes assisting in ceremonies such as the opening ceremony, providing hospitality to participants, and helping guests.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older as of April 1st, 2016
(Minors must obtain consent from their guardian)
